Have you ever wondered why there's so much conflicting information about diabetes?dieting? nutrition? drugs? testing? Do you know what foods to eat? Do you know what foods to avoid? Are you frustrated about what to do?
Mr. McCulley (an engineer and the author of "Death to Diabetes") went through the same frustration years ago when he struggled with his diabetes. Before writing the book (during his medical research), Mr. McCulley discovered several reasons why there is so much conflicting information about diabetes.
Mr. McCulley (an engineer and the author of "Death to Diabetes") went through the same frustration years ago when he struggled with his diabetes. Before writing the book (during his medical research), Mr. McCulley discovered several reasons why there is so much conflicting information about diabetes.
One of the major reasons is that most people think that they understand diabetes, but, in fact, they know very little or they know a lot of the wrong things. This is especially true with some doctors, diabetes educators, herbalists, nutritionists, and diabetics, especially those who've been diabetic for a long time. Mr. McCulley discovered that most people (including medical doctors) fail to truly understand the science of diabetes -- specifically the pathology and biochemistry of diabetes at the cellular level.
One of the other major reasons is that most people think that they understand food and diets, but, in fact, they know very little about the science of food and nutrition. There are many beliefs about diets and nutrition that just aren't true. Mr. McCulley discovered this when several diabetics in his community tried to help him with his diabetes. He appreciated their support, but their information was either conflicting or it didn't make sense.
One of the other major areas that doctors and others overlook and underestimate is the impact that one's emotional health, personal drive, motivation and spirituality has on their overall health. As a result, most doctors are surprised when some of their patients somehow beat the odds and get their diabetes under control while other patients are able to improve their diabetes and not require any diabetic drugs.
So, when you combine all of this with several other factors, you end up with a lot of confusion, misunderstanding, conflicting information, and anxiety because as a diabetic you're not certain what to do! This is what Mr. McCulley faced back in 2002 when the doctors told him there was very little that he could do to improve his health or his diabetes.
So, as a scientist and engineer, Mr. McCulley decided to start from scratch and take a look at diabetes at the cellular level. As a scientist and engineer, Mr. McCulley knew that in order to find a viable solution, he needed to clearly understand the problem. As a result, he was able to develop a medical wellness protocol that is metrics-driven and structured to guide you through 6 stages of health progress and diabetes reversal.
Then, because he had access to so many diabetics through the American Diabetes Assocation, he was able to verify and modify his program over a period of 3 years before publishing his book. But, he didn't stop there -- he continued to modify his program and conduct research which has enabled him to continue updating his book and writing several new books.
