When we continue to eat poorly over the years, we gradually begin to develop health problems such as fatigue, weight gain, thinning hair, a cough, trouble breathing, upset stomach, constipation, etc.
Then, we go to the drugstore to purchase some over-the-counter drugs to help us.
But, we continue to get sicker.
Then, we go to the doctor, who gives us a prescription drug.
That works for a while, but then, we return to the doctor, who either gives us a new drug or just adds a second drug on top of the first drug.
Gradually, we find ourselves taking 3, 4, 5, sometimes up to 12 different drugs!
And, we never consider that maybe, just maybe, the drugs aren't really working!!
Eventually, we end up in the hospital where they give you more drugs. If that doesn't work, they perform surgery. Then, they give you more drugs after the surgery.
But, we never make the connection between the poor eating and having a disease such as diabetes!
